Golf is in full swing, but its not just popular with players, it’s also attracting thieves.

Police from across the Okanagan are trying to identify a thief or gang of thieves who have been swinging through golf shops around the valley.

According to the RCMP, between June and July, the Okanagan Golf Club in Kelowna, Shannon Lake Golf Course in West Kelowna, Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Club in Kelowna and the Rise Golf Resort in Vernon were all victims of smash-and-grabs.

As Global’s Victoria Femia reports, thousands of dollars of equipment has been taken.
