In vegetation already reduced to ashes and blackened by the wildfire in the Aude department, southern France, firefighters continue to tackle flare ups, spraying the area around Durban-Corbieres as a precaution. Although the fire is contained, the operations commander says it will take at least until the end of the weekend to bring it under control.
