Hong Kong’s first giant panda cubs, twins Jia Jia and De De, are set to celebrate their first birthday on August 15, as the Asian financial hub gears up for festivities at Ocean Park.

"At the age of one, Jia Jia and De De started to explore new things, including the bamboo leaves," said Matt Leung, the 37-year-old curator of wildlife engagement at Ocean Park, who has spent the past year feeding, weighing, and caring for the fluffy cubs.
