Federal agents were spotted arriving in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles at the same time California Gov. Newsom was in the neighborhood to talk about the redrawing of California’s congressional maps.

Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass said the presence of the federal agents was not a coincidence. Federal officials said the agents were conducting routine patrols.
