Fans arrive at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup opening match between hosts England and the United States. Around 40,000 fans were expected to turn out to support the Red Roses, who are unbeaten since a narrow defeat by New Zealand in the last World Cup final three years ago.
