The city of Montreal is under fire after producing a first of its kind framework on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

The plan comes after a reported spike in hate crimes and extremism in Montreal in recent years.

The new DEI policy outlines five key areas of focus, but as Phil Carpenter reports, community groups are upset over what is notably absent.
