From Global News.
Air Canada customers looking to complain to the regulator in the wake of the recent flight attendants’ strike should be prepared to wait.
The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) says its backlog of air travel complaints as of Aug. 14 – two days before the strike started – was 85,000.
The backlog has been mounting since new rules passed by the federal government came into effect in 2019, which set compensation amounts for flight delays, cancellations and other issues.
As Amandalina Letterio reports, with the recent Air Canada strike, things are only going to get bumpier.
