Gunfire riddles home of BC speed boat operator involved in fatal crash of 10-year-old boy

From Global News.

RCMP are investigating after gunfire perforated a North Vancouver home overnight.

North Vancouver RCMP said the home was occupied when shots rang out around 4 a.m. on Monday. No one was hurt.

The homeowner called police after hearing a loud bang and discovering bullet holes in the home. RCMP later found evidence of gunfire at the scene.

Property records show the home is owned by the speed boat operator involved in a deadly speed boat collision in the waters off Cates Park earlier this year that killed 10-year-old Lionel Hall.

Global’s Kristen Robinson reports.
