Israeli strikes in Gaza have killed nearly 200 journalists since October 7, 2023, says NGO | DW News

The UN Secretary-General is calling for a prompt and impartial investigation into an Israeli airstrike on the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Palestinian officials in Gaza say at least 20 people were killed in the attack. The health ministry, which is controlled by Hamas, says two missiles hit the facility. Five Palestinian journalists are among the dead. Israel’s military says it carried out a strike near the hospital, and denies intentionally targeting journalists. We spoke to Jodie Ginsberg, CEO of the Committee to Protect Journalists. (WARNING: Some viewers may find images in this next report disturbing).
