Workers repair power lines and remove tree branches from roads a day after Typhoon Kajiki made landfall in Vietnam’s coastal city of Vinh. The powerful storm, the fifth this year, killed at least one person and forced tens of thousands of residents out of their homes. “It was the first time I saw a big storm that caused so much destruction," says local resident Vo Trinh Thanh Ngoc.
