Indices are in the red on the trading floor of Eurozone stock exchange operator Euronext, as European stock markets and shares in French banks plunge amid fresh political turmoil in France. There are fears that the government could be toppled, after Prime Minister Francois Bayrou proposed a confidence vote to break an impasse over his proposed budget cuts.
