Two men in Indonesia’s conservative Aceh province were publicly flogged 76 times each after they were found guilty by a court of violating Islamic Shariah law by hugging and kissing, which the court ruled can lead to banned same-sex intercourse. The men were part of a group of 10 who were publicly caned.
