‘A Hiccup At The Opera’ – A Short Short Film
A seemingly regular choir performance turns out to be quite out of the ordinary. They all hiccup! The performance is kicked off to the notes of The Blue Danube Waltz. Water-themed props and colourful backgrounds frame our characters. As the music progresses, members of the choir each join in with their unique ways of hiccupping. We follow the slightly tardy lead singer as he makes his way through the world of the stage which is out of the ordinary and at times doesn’t quite make sense. The performance climaxes and the lead singer of the choir rushes to climb up the extravagant set on stage, and does the most powerful hiccup of them all. As the music comes to an end, the choir reunites on the center stage and catches their breath while awaiting their well-deserved applause. The stunned audience, after a brief moment of silence, breaks out into a roaring applause.
