Actor Eric Dane has been diagnosed with ALS, a nervous system disease also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Dane was nicknamed "McSteamy" when he appeared in just a towel on "Grey’s Anatomy." He now stars in the hit Max series "Euphoria." The 52-year-old told People Magazine, "I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter." In 2012, the Ice Bucket Challenge swept the nation, raising $220 million for ALS research.
