Aerial footage showed a helicopter dropping fire retardant on the Jenkins Creek Fire on May 12. Three large wildfires continued to spread across northern Minnesota on May 14, with the Jenkins Creek Fire rapidly expanding in size to over 20,000 acres, according to the U.S. government’s Wildfire.gov. website.
