Images show rubble at the Syrian Military Research Center in Damascus after strikes attributed to Israel targeted the Barzeh area of the capital, completely destroying a Defense Ministry research facility, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The war monitor said that Israel had "destroyed the most important military sites in Syria" with a flurry of air strikes since the fall of president Bashar al-Assad’s government.
