Air Canada strike: Union says if continuing means jail, “so be it”

After the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) found the strike by Air Canada CUPE flight attendants to be illegal, CUPE National President Mark Hancock spoke Monday about how far they’re willing to go despite facing possible jail time and costly fines for defying a back to work order.

“There’s no limit. We’re going to stay strong. We’re going to stay committed to making sure those workers can love the job they love doing and actually be able to afford a roof over their heads, to afford caring for their families.”
