Just a quick video showing the inside of a fairly common inline one way valve for some liquids and gasses.
This valve came from eBay. Its body is made of aluminium, but the interior is plastic/rubber, and will only be compatible with some liquids and gasses. It also does require a suitable reverse pressure to close properly.
I got it to test its ability to hold against a slight vacuum, and it seems to work OK for that.
If you want to open the valve it does require being gripped in a vice and a suitably sized or adjustable spanner/wrench used. They are supplied closed very tightly against the internal seal.
If you enjoy my videos you can help support the channel with a dollar or two for coffee, cookies and gadgets, and keep it independent from the quirks of the YouTube algorithm by supporting me on Patreon. I release content for critique and feedback on Patreon as soon as it has been made.
