Bolivia’s presidential candidate Rodrigo Paz greets supporters after first round. Two right-wing candidates head into a run-off for president of Bolivia after topping the first round of elections Sunday that ended two decades of leftist rule, projections based on a partial vote count showed. Center-right senator Rodrigo Paz was the surprise vote leader, with 31.3-31.6 per cent of the ballot, according to projections based on partial results by Ipsos and Captura pollsters respectively. Former right-wing former president Jorge "Tuto" Quiroga came second in the election dominated by a generational economic crisis with 27.1 percent according to Captura, compared to 27.3 percent for Ipsos.
