At the end of March, Aptera made its first long-distance road trip of its production-intent solar electric car. Not only did it post some impressive efficiency figures (even if you take into account the net downhill nature of the route), but it showed how far the company’s progress toward market readiness has come.
But is society ready for a quirky, fun three-wheeler? And is there a future where a car like an Aptera might make sense?
