The Conservative Party of Canada has dropped two of its candidates for the 2025 federal election in under 24 hours.
Mark McKenzie was running in the Ontario riding of Windsor-Tecumseh-Lakeshore, while Stéfan Marquis was aiming to win Montreal’s Laurier—Sainte-Marie seat.
Mercedes Stephenson explains the past comments McKenzie and Marquis separately made that led to them being ousted.
