The tariffs imposed on Canada by U.S. President Donald Trump has put Canada’s book industry in a bind.

The industry has been largely spared by exemptions under America’s First Amendment, but sellers and authors worry about the impact Canada’s counter tariffs could have.

And as Melissa Ridgen reports, they fear if things escalate, the next chapter may be the end for some workers.
