Canadian dairy farmers dodged U.S. President Donald Trump’s new tariffs this week but are still on edge.
The president has repeatedly said Canada’s supply management program is a major problem in the U.S.-Canada trade deficit while Canada has maintained that the program is non-negotiable.
But as Mike Armstrong explains, dairy farmers fear that Canada’s stance might change post-elections.
