Prime Minister Mark Carney said flight attendants should be ‘compensated equitably’ and that it’s ‘disappointing’ that negotiations did not lead to an agreement as the Air Canada strike continues. Striking flight attendants defied a federal back-to-work order over the weekend and halted the airline’s plans to resume operations.
