Security barriers are already in place to secure the 14 July parade on the Champs-Elysees, while Paris and its surrounding areas will be under heightened surveillance on Sunday and Monday. A total of 11,500 security personnel will be mobilised for the Bastille Day celebrations and the Club World Cup final between PSG and Chelsea, with no gatherings "tolerated" on the most beautiful avenue in the world.
