China accused the United States of launching cyberattacks targeting its essential industries during the Asian Winter Games in February, condemning the act as “malicious cyber behavior.”
 
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian was speaking to reporters during a regular briefing in Beijing and added that the country will continue to take necessary measures to protect its own cyber security.
