Comparing Trump’s pre and post-election rhetoric

From PBS NewsHour.

As Inauguration Day nears, President-elect Donald Trump has at times contradicted his campaign promise of ending the U.S.’ involvement in its so-called forever wars.

Trump earlier this week talked about the possibility of using military force to secure Greenland and the Panama Canal. He also talked about using economic control to pressure Canada to acquire it.

PBS News’ Laura Barrón-López looks at Trump’s rhetoric on the campaign trail and after he won the election and what it could mean for those who support him.
