From DW News.
Three people have been killed and at least two injured in the latest attack by Houthi rebels on a merchant ship they say was traveling to Israel.
Video released by the Iran-backed group shows the vessel, Eternity C, being hit by ballistic missiles before sinking into the Red Sea – an act that the Houthis claim is a protest against Israel’s ongoing military offensive in Gaza.
According to an EU naval task force, 19 people that were aboard the ship are still missing, with six rescued. It is the second such attack in a week by the Yemen-based group – with the Houthis claiming they also sank the ship the Magic Seas. This raises fresh concerns about safety in a vital shipping corridor.
