Beginning Monday evening, and ending 25 hours later, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker carried a scathing speech warning of President Donald Trump’s “grave and urgent” threat to the U.S. into Tuesday morning. After breaking 1957’s 24-hour, 18-minute record for longest speech on the Senate floor, Sen. Chuck Schumer interrupted Booker to congratulate him.
