Three Israeli and five Thai hostages have been released after more than 400 days in captivity in Gaza. There were chaotic scenes during some of the handovers, with Islamic Jihad and Hamas fighters struggling to hold back hundreds of onlookers. In exchange, Israel has freed 110 Palestinian prisoners.
