From Global News.
Violence broke out briefly in the North Macedonian town of Kocani on Monday when a group of people used rocks to smash out the windows of a pub and attacked the house belonging to the same person who owned the nightclub involved in a deadly blaze that killed at least 59 people and injured more than hundred.
"What has happened was worse than a crime," North Macedonia’s prime minister said. "This was, I would say, a mass murder allowed to happen by someone for money, for bribes, for corruption."
With tears in their eyes, thousands gathered to grieve the victims of a deadly nightclub blaze.
"After this, there is nothing left (no young people). This is a dead city. That’s it, there’s nothing more. This is very unfortunate for all parents and their families," a mourner said.
