From Global News.
Two people died and another two were reported missing Sunday in the South Korean resort town of Gapyeong as a torrential rainstorm continued across the country’s southern region.
In the Gapyeong area, rain caused severe flooding that swept away vehicles and triggered a landslide that engulfed houses.
The rainfall is likely to end on Sunday, with a heatwave expected to follow, the government weather forecaster said. The agency also said the rain, which has claimed 14 lives in southern parts of South Korea over the past several days, moved north overnight.
