For the first time, scientists livestreamed a high-tech dive into Argentina’s Mar del Plata Canyon, nearly twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. Using the ROV SuBastian, a deep-sea robot controlled from the ship, the team uncovered more than 40 new species with alien-like features.
