A Delta Air Lines plane caught fire moments before take off at Orlando International Airport on Monday, forcing passengers to evacuate down emergency slides.
The completely full flight, bound for Atlanta, had departed its gate when a fire was reported in one of the two engines, the FAA said in a statement.
“Delta flight crews followed procedures to evacuate the passenger cabin when flames in the tailpipe of one of the aircraft’s two engines were observed,” the airline said.
No injuries were reported.
