Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was removed from the House floor after continuing to interrupt Trump’s joint address to Congress, waving his cane and refusing to sit despite Speaker Johnson’s warnings. The GOP briefly chanted “Na-na-na-na, hey hey hey, good-bye” as the sergeant-at-arms’ officers approached Green and escorted him out. In an interview after with NBC, Green said when Trump spoke about his “mandate,” it “triggered something” in him.
