From ABC News.
A group of detainees at an immigration facility at the center of President Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act formed an "SOS" distress signal earlier this week that was captured by a Reuters drone.
Thirty-one men – dressed in orange and red jumpsuits – stood forming the shape of the international distress signal in a yard in the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, Texas.
Earlier this month, dozens of detainees were bused from Bluebonnet to a nearby airport where their lawyers allege they were set to be deported to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act.
The men – who the Trump administration allege are members of Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua – remain at risk of deportation if the Supreme Court lifts its order barring their removals.
After being denied access to the facility, Reuters flew a drone near Bluebonnet on April 28 when it captured photos of some of the men forming the distress signal.
