A Saskatoon family’s trip to Mexico ended up with them soaking up far more than just the sun.
Andrew Hoffman and Brette Cowen were vacationing in Cancun with their son when they fell ill with suspected food poisoning so bad they had to be removed from their WestJet flight home.
“I’m not over-exaggerating when I’m say I literally thought we were going to die there,” says Hoffman.
“I hope that this story is going to create some moral accountability even though legal accountability is unlikely to happen,” says Air Passenger Rights President Dr. Gabor Lukacs.
