During a press conference, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., spoke out about Elon Musk’s social media post criticizing the Trump-backed budget bill. Elon Musk called the Republican bill to advance Trump’s agenda a “disgusting abomination."

Jeffries said of the post: "Breaking news: Elon Musk and I agree with each other. The GOP tax scam is a disgusting abomination. Every single Republican who voted for the one big, ugly bill should be ashamed of themselves. They aren’t helping their constituents. They are hurting their constituents."

He also spoke out about Sen. Joni Ernst’s, R-Iowa, viral comments on Medicaid and on the race for the Oversight Ranking Member role.
