U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, whose son was murdered in a targeted attack in 2020, joins Morning Joe following the “Speak Up for Justice” forum, where judges from around the world warned against growing threats to the legal system: “Disinformation is being used from the top down” to portray judges as corrupt… “If the government doesn’t like our rulings, appeal to a higher court. The answer is not to threaten or denigrate the entire justice system.”

Retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy also spoke at the event, urging Americans to reject toxic political discourse and defend the rule of law.
