Dog Helps Bring Owner to Safety After Being Ejected Down Cliff

From Inside Edition.

Jacob Schmitt suffered a broken leg, fractured ankles, and broken ribs when he was ejected down a cliff in Utah’s Uinta Mountains after losing control of his truck. The 34-year-old man panicked that no one would find him, but his dog Buddy, who had been traveling with him, came to help. Schmitt says for the next 11 hours, his German short-haired pointer helped him crawl down the cliff until he made it to a restaurant. Schmitt was rushed to the hospital and the fire department took care of Buddy.
