DOGE discovery? How the law CAN reveal “really juicy stuff” on Musk’s team

From MSNBC.

Since President Trump’s first day in office, DOGE has dominated headlines by forcing its way into federal agencies, accessing sensitive and private data, and purportedly slashing grants and contracts long ago committed to states, universities, and others. Unsurprisingly, DOGE has been the subject of dozens of lawsuits challenging a variety of those actions as well as the legality of the agency itself. On this episode of “Can They Do That? with Lisa Rubin” MSNBC Legal Correspondent Lisa Rubin dives deep into DOGE with NYU associate professor of law, Noah Rosenblum. Rosenblum talks about having to move from “basic, normal human intuitions to the weirdo language of the law,” what he finds “blatantly illegal,” and why he compares the way DOGE operates to "Pirates of the Caribbean."
