Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States today inside the U.S Capitol Rotunda. The inauguration ceremony was moved indoors due to the frigid temperatures. The ceremony is traditionally held at the West Front of the Capitol.

He shook hands with Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, who administered the oath, and then shook hands with former President Biden. He then embraced first lady Melania Trump and his children standing nearby.
