E.U. officials reach deal to allow more food and fuel in Gaza

From PBS NewsHour.

European officials reached a deal with Israel Thursday to allow more food and fuel into Gaza. The E.U.’s top diplomat said the agreement could result in more crossings open, aid and food trucks entering Gaza, repair of vital infrastructure and protection of aid workers.

It comes as local hospitals and aid workers say Israeli airstrikes killed at least 36 Palestinians overnight. That included 15 people waiting outside a medical clinic, many of them children. Israel says it was targeting a militant when it struck near the facility.
