US President Donald Trump said it is a "big day" at the White House ahead of a meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and other key European leaders, about the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Meanwhile, Zelensky has accused Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin, of wanting to "humiliate diplomatic efforts" after 10 people were killed in Russian strikes in the hours before the meeting.

Earlier, Trump ruled out Ukraine joining Nato and reclaiming Crimea, illegally annexed by Moscow in 2014, in a future peace deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
