Following Monday’s White House summit with Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European leaders are set to discuss future support for Ukraine. This meeting was arranged quickly after President Trump’s summit with Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Trump says he is now working to arrange direct talks between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders, and he hinted at U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine.
