Family, friends speak out as Quebec killer convicted of triple murder seeks appeal

Family and friends of a Quebec woman murdered more than two years ago are speaking out following the latest move from her convicted killer.

In December, a jury found Mohamed al Ballouz guilty of fatally stabbing Synthia Bussieres and suffocating their two young children.

Now Ballouz is seeking an appeal, even though the deadline has passed. Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports.
