The world’s leading authority on food crises said more than half a million Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing famine. The report said famine is occurring in Gaza City, and it could spread to Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis by the end of next month.

The United Nations says the famine could have been ‘prevented’ if it wasn’t for ‘systematic obstruction by Israel.’

Israel has dismissed the report as ‘false and biased.’
