Flash Floods Make a Mess of New York and New Jersey

From Inside Edition.

Heavy rains hit the Northeast on Monday, causing flash floods, stranding drivers, and disrupting life. In Scotch Plains, New Jersey, cars, buses and even an ambulance got stuck in flood waters. Crews had to rescue one stranded driver from their car with a rope. Across the Hudson River, New York City fared little better. Several subway stations flooded, causing one frustrated straphanger to complain, "When it rains here in New York, it sucks."
