Germany’s new Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is on his first visit to the Middle East as top diplomat. His trip included talks with the Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Earlier, in a meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Wadephul said the conflict in Gaza cannot be solved by military means and a political solution must be found to end the war permanently.
