German biathlete and two-time Olympic champion, Laura Dahlmeier, has died following a climbing accident in Pakistan. The 31-year-old, seen here receiving civic honors for her achievements at the 2018 winter games, was climbing at over five-thousand meters in the Karakoram mountain range. Her climbing partner raised the alarm when falling rocks struck her on Monday.
